Oh LAWD..It's too bad this scene was taken out. It's one of the more sensual, relaxed ones I've seen. Most of the kissing in UTCM was sloppy and face-devouring. Every time Prince kissed Mary, I wondered if he was gonna swallow the poor girl. There were a couple of sloppy kisses in PR too, but I could get passed them and stay in the moment. I agree, the one basement steps, was decent. Probably by the time that scene was shot, they'd gotten more "cosy" with one another. I also though the slight kiss on the cheek before taking the stage for I Would Die 4 U was sweet. In the shorter films like 3 Chains O Gold and The Beautiful Experience, the kissing was a little better. Troy Beyer gets a good kiss. Mayte gets a longer kiss on stage. Don't get your hopes up though, it's not a close up.

I have never seen that before, and I too hope there is deleted scenes like this the blu-ray release for all 3 films.

Despite being reported to have a voracious sexual appetite, I never believed all of the hype. He might have been a sex machine, or not but I think he was shy onscreen and that was reflected in his onscreen kissing.
