My kids really like the way Prince used to dance back in the 1983-1988 era.

They particularly enjoy 'Housequake' (sign o the times movie version).

We dance and sing along to it and-

my 4 year old son even gets on his back and starts trying to do the

(slide on the back - turn around do a split then spin and snap your head back .. move)..

it's Amazing to see!

But.. Prince says.. "Aint that a Bitch?! I think its Cat!" right before the move..

And my children sing along..

And when the song starts Prince's first words are - "Shut up alredy Damn!"

then he starts saying Bullshit! ..

And my children sing along..

I sing along LOUDER and i try my best to say other words like Man instead of Damn..

But cartoons and childrens movies have a lot of innuendo going on these days so kids aren't really all that naive to what's kinda goin' down!

Last weekend we were having our livingroom Prince dance party and my (4) year old son said -

Prince is Naughty He says Naughty words.

What he said made me - See things through Prince's eyes for a moment..

I think i now better understand why he cleaned things up and made his entire presentation more 'family friendly' in his later years.
