How many times did P admit any physical problem? . I can't remember any others (besides this), can you?
Talking after the concert -- Essence, June 2014: "You reach a plane of creativity and inspiration. A plane where every song that has ever existed and every song that will exist in the future is right there in front of you. And you just go with it for as long as it takes. Like tonight. You can tell me I was onstage for four hours, but it doesn't feel like that to me. We were all out of body out there. Sometimes it isn't until we're in the car after a jam where I feel my leg tighten up. And then I'm not out of body anymore." . http://www.essence.com/20...-june-2014 . Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I get the impression that Prince was never the type to discuss any personal failures or problems he was experiencing. He always had to be "Prince". He always had to be "on".

I remember on a radio talk show once he mentioned that he was experiencing some vertigo as he had evidently when he was younger. He mentioned that he hoped it wasn't something resurfacing. I remember I thought it odd he mentioned it and it was definitely out of character as he never discussed such things.

During the Atlanta Piano and Mic show, he apologized for having to postpone the April 7th show and said, "I was a little under the weather." He also tweeted once, about a month prior, that the world was a beautiful place despite influenza.

I saw an interview once where he talked about an injury he sustained during a performance that caused him to cancel at least one show. He described what happened, as well as how disappointed he was that it affected other shows. It was a foot injury and it had to do with how he landed on his foot. I think this was in the early 90s but I could be wrong about the timeframe.

There was a lady chiropractor (massage therapist? Something like that) who he responded 2 on twitter, concerning issues with neck/shoulders (I'm not sure exactly, don't quote me) from long periods playing piano. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

. He postponed the Atlanta concert on the 7th because he went to Dr S for help with "withdrawal symptoms". It wasn't the flu...although it would have felt like it. . Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

He told Tavis Smiley he was an epileptic when he was a kid. When I first heard Prince had died, I thought his epilepsy had something to do with it. ..Hello, who is it?
Yes, this is a prettyman, Princey!

I've been thinking that having Donna play many/most of the power guitar solos was a bit of an admission. Hindsight of course. “Nobody wants to read my Prince think piece” https://medium.com/@mary_beaulieu

Prince was playing as much guitar as ever in the 3EG shows. Since Donna was a lead guitarist I'm sure P wanted her to have opportunities to solo. But the clips I've seen online it doesn't appear that she was playing more than him. On the SNL appearance they basically took turns with the solos. Paisley Park is in your heart

He admitted it to Kevin Smith. "So, the next day, he goes 'I don't think I'll be able to make it today because I have a concert to do at the St. Paul Xcel Arena.' He's like 'I'm going to do the show at night and my leg hurts so I'm not going to do the Q&A today, you're on your own' And I said 'Why's your leg hurt?' And he goes 'I just got something wrong with my knee'. And I was like 'Do you think it's because you always wear heels?' [big laughs from the crowd] And he's like 'what do you mean?' And I was like 'maybe your knee wouldn't hurt so bad if you wore some sneakers every once in awhile' And he goes 'Kevin, it's got nothing to do with sneakers' And I was like 'ok, man. just checking.' You know, we need you Prince." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW7daZ0ptrk
