Even in death Prince inspires people This is not about music and only a bit connected to Prince. But please stay with me. I am very interested in medical science and I follow all kinds of medical journals. The last few months, I noticed that Nature and Science covered pain medication and all kinds of issues regarding them. Before Prince died, it was a none issue in those high impact journals. A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon this nice article. Research is being conducted to find non-addictive painkillers. Too little, too late of course for our beloved hero. I don't believe or think Prince was a long term patient/user/addict. However, I do think Prince's untimely death has triggered at least the media/scientific attention to this field of research. Let's hope this research will indeed lead to non-addicitve painkillers. I know I could use some, every now and then. http://mobile.the-scienti...ive-opioid | |
