Despite the endless amounts of pics I've seen, that was just spectacular. I kinda wish the drone had dropped down into one of the windows of the egg, just to see if anything could be seen inside. haha

The building behind it is the "genius" thing I mentioned a few days ago, in another thread: that's Chanhassen's public works building. (You can see it on Google satellite view, including the bins of sand.)

That's where they keep all of their snow removal equipment -- meaning that the roads around Paisley Park were the FIRST to ever be plowed after a storm.

I don't know which was there first but it certainly worked out well for Paisley Park.

I was there just a few days ago, and yes, it's a tour bus. It was sad to think that it will never go out again on a P tour...

I just watched it. Makes me so sad to see PP without Prince there. PP will never look or feel the same, ever again. I know his spirit will always be there because it was his "happy" place. Prince had such a strong spirit that makes it so hard to believe he is gone.

I'm thinking it was storage. Notice the door. Isn't it boarded up? That's a pretty old tour bus (P a hoarder? LOL). From above, it looks like a music note...which he was rumored to want a building to look like. Check the looped driveway.

Wow..it's so quiet and empty, sad and somber.. I live so far away but regret never going there.This building must stand forever..it's a national treasure.

DId I see people on the property? Everything looks so good and lush-the grass and such.

You thought wrong. Use the search box. There have been endless discussions on that building, and what it was meant for, etc. In fact, since he's died, there has been an almost endless discussion about it. Use the search box.

Also, it's not all boarded up. That's a side door, and your photo is older than the drone footage. It's not even visible in the photo you provided, and having a door there wouldn't fit with the design anyway. (Look at the window placement.) The front of the building can be seen in the left of that pic; it faces the main building. That entryway's visible in the drone footage, and in that photo.

A music note isn't curved, either. A basic note is round, and the staff is straight. The flag is wavy, but that building resembles nothing like that. The driveway isn't looped. It's barely a v-shape, and more has just an indention in it. A loop would indicate a circle of some sort. It's far from that.

I always thought it was that little pyramid topped building at the back, sorta facing the egg. At least that's where his office part of it was (as featured in a few vids/specials). I believe there was a bathroom/bedroom off of that office. I read later on that he had renovations done on his living quarters tho.

That's what I thought. It would have to be in the area where the windows are, as laytonia suggests. I vaguely recall something about the offices being on the first floor and living quarters on the second.
