Prince was a very intelligent man, especially as he grew older his world became less soley about just music but he became interested in religion, beoming an activist, African-American community/history, ect...and seemed to develop other interests...people who knew him said he enjoyed debate, lively converstation, learning from others...so knowing that if you could have sat down with him over coffee and talked with him and you could choose a topic what would you like to discuss with him?

I would have asked him what he thought of Evolutionary Psychology/Anthropology...I would be interested to know what he would think of certain theories and Human orgins and corosponding human behavior....

I would ask him how he understood the relationship between sex and spirituality, and how that had changed over time in relation to becoming a JW. (I'd also want to know (but wouldn't dare ask) how he squared thinking of sex as a spiritual experience with being such a player, or whether he considered them in conflict, and if so, whether it was a conflict he would have preferred to have been able to resolve one way or another, and in what way (but yeah, that's a bit personal)).

I'd ask him to tell me more about his concept of time.

I'd ask him why he bangin' on 'bout God.

He had much to teach about hard, hard work. Practice. How talent is the result of hard work plus dedication.

I'd also have encouraged him to work with young men, who need so much guidance.

How would he deal with crime if he could?

And a world of other questions. Inevitably, I'd argue with him and I'd probably push him on certain ideas just to see what he does. He'd probably not have the best opinion of me by the time we got done.

Wow. That was a really long reply.

I simply wouldn't. I don't believe he had any answers. He was more gifted than most, yet his life was a mess more often than not.

If it was only one conversation..I would hope that we wouldn't be doing much talking but, the Presidential election.
