Prince: Glastonbury

Apparently Prince was to headline this year's Glastonbury festival. Basically, after talks with Eavis it's not going to happen unfortunately... all 85,000 tickets are sold now anyway! I hear Moby's taking his place... hmm?

He should've taken that gig. The publicity would've done wonders. Besides that, music fans who wouldn't normally attend a Prince show would be reminded what a truly talented perfomer he is. It's sad to note NME making the usual 'pint-sized', 'elfin', 'purple-this-that-and-the-other' references toward Prince. Strange, no such derogatory comments are made toward the other prospective Glastonbury performers. That's NME for you.
