I love hunting down and watching P's individual music videos (I'm not talking about 'collections' or concert videos)...I must have watched gazillions of them - and he looks fabulous in all of them! However, in terms of the ONE I cannot get enough of watching; the one I find totally fascinating / absorbing, I have to go for 'Face Down' (closely followed by 'Gangsta Glam').

Why? Well, I love his facial expressions in it; his 'chipper' dance moves; the way he waves his stick around (I said 'his STICK' ) and his blowing on that horn (gosh, this is sounding worse and worse by the minute )! All in all, I just can't get enough of the 'Face Down' video, and I always find something new in it!

Is there one in particular that you really, really like or find compelling - and why?

A couple, for different reasons. "Glam Slam", because it was a better lit look into the Lovesexy Tour. I only wish they'd recorded it live, because it sounds even better in concert, too.

The other is "Gangsta Glam". I was a hairstylist at the time that was out. I was fascinated with his typhoon hair at the time. I always hot ironed my hair into a pompadour type look, slicked on the sides. The silhouette was the same as his, but the details differed a bit. I'd get home, and tie a silk handkerchief around my head, and tie it off in the front, like he did in "Gett Off", etc. I mean, in those days I was watching the Diamonds and Pearls Video Collection everyday anyway. The Gett Off collection was a lot of fun stuff, including the mention of the hair.

I was later a featured stylist in a Paul Mitchell hair show. I cut & colored my model's hair, and did a typhoon on her, and even called it that on stage. People seemed to love it.

Also, "Gold" - because the whole special around it was so great.

When Doves Cry -- because if you look really close when he gets out of the tub, you can see a bit of that dyed-purple woolen underwear cut and sewed into a "banana sling" for him.

Computer Blue. I find it compelling to watch most every single detail of what goes on in that video start to finish but can't explain why I do nor why I love it so much. I will say that I find him really HOT in that video though Maybe that's the reason then
