Was there ever official lyrics for Another Lonely Christmas? The reason I ask is that I am able to find different lyrics throughout the internet.

For example: I have always heard: Your father said it was pneumonia, Your mother said it was strep.

But I have been able to find lyrics listing it as "Strep" and "Stress". I still say it's strep.

And for "My mother used to say, I was just your lover. I guess that only applies to her."

I am finding "My mother used to say "Always trust your lover." I still like I was just your lover better. Shows his sick sense of humor, even in a tough situation.

What do y'all think?
