Listening to Prince music has inspired me to write what's in my heart. I'm a spoken word artist and this was suppose to be my year 2 achieve my goal as a artist.(2016) My CD was completed November 2015 and by now my plans were to have a cd release party. I planned on using this photo for my cd cover. I hope that oneday Prince and i would meet and he would hear some of my lyrics. One of my songs is about old skool parties, similar 2 Prince song ''Musicology" Prince never let anything stop him from being successful. I know this should be about me and my life not Prince. How do i stop grieving because Prince isn't here and continue with my own success,why do i feel so lost without Prince?

I hear you, I feel the same. But you did have him - via your fantasies. And he loved his fans. And he put all his love into his music, so - you still have him. Its all there, so much to absorb and explore. You can channel him through your music and dedicate to him.

Thank you for your encouraging words. Yes we'll aiways have his music, this is how I'm coping. Some of his songs make me smile then at time I'll cry. I planned on dedicating some of my songs 2 Prince.

Prince taught me if you want it you have 2 go get it! He was so full of energy and his lyrics touched our hearts. I have some nice lyrics that i recorded in the studio when i lived in California. Thank all of you for supporting me. Purpleforeverlove would love 2 make Prince proud, i learned from the best!
