Crazy about baths but he licked all kinds of stuff. smh I wonder if he picked their perfume after they bathed. He had 15 of 'em. Seriously if this is his real creepy stuff, I'd say he's mild. I give him a 2 second eyebrow raise. Bathe 'em and sent they azz home.

I truley don't understand some of you, first you want to know things about him and wish his inner circle would open up and then when they do you say it's to much TMI, that his memory shouldn't be tarnished ect.... well ya'll can't have it both ways, and btw it doesn't matter if they lay all of his business out on the table now, he is gone RIP and ain't nothing that can be said or heard that can hurt or anger him anymore

When he first passed away the only solice I had as a fan was that it was here in Minnesota...we absolutley loved him here and his spirit is still here in the city. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

The ones that were haven't really been gossiping about their time with him. Kim Berry did that interview but the stuff she disclosed was pretty innocuous. Paisley Park is in your heart

I don't get a thrill out of thinking he was some kind of pimp. For me personally it was TMI due to the trusted employee position she was in. You can feel how you want to feel about the situation. Your prerogative. I just think if you were a friend and an employee to someone who trusted you, and you respected, why would you want to tell something as personal as this to the world so carelessly after he died? I guess I'm naive in thinking that even if someone passes you should show some kind of respect for them out of loyalty as a friend and confidant. Especially when you are talking about his sexual intricasies. Yea, he's feeling no hurt or anger cuz he's no longer with us but he does have little nieces running around out there. Anyway, Just my opinion. Not looking for an on going battle over Prince's peen, lol. [Edited 7/27/16 5:41am]

We've heard (podcast) the story of the woman behind the Little Red Corvette, now we know who was behind the stories of Red Light Runner!
Once we followed him out of the club and chased him through the streets of Minneapolis. "Hold on to your souls y'all. We got a long way to go. Thank you! We love y'all!"

He writes and sings about water a lot. Maybe his friends were lucky he offered them a warm bath instead of a dip in the lake--think baptism.
In one interview --I think with Travis Smiley--Travis asked him about the sex in his songs over the years and Prince very openly chuckled and said sex was about imagination. It was what was in your head because without it "...all you had was old skin". In one recent song he talks about his relationship with someone half his age and how that relationship was "metaphysical".
So perhaps his fascination with water and bathing was for him, less voyeurism and more spiritual. This hairdresser "assumed" he slept with these women, yet the stories she tells and others tell similar stories about bathing. Tthere is journalist who told a similar story only Prince never was in her room. The directions came from his staff in calls!
The part about his being happy when he was first married to Mayte sounds genuine. He seemed so in love with her--at least at first. He smiled on that Oprah show and other interviews. He let us see his playful side and in one performance on the Rosie O'Donnell show, from the side, he almost looked--jowly. ))) It suggested he was eating well because he was happy.
I wish there had been a picture of the hair styles she did for him. She didn't tell us if he liked it or not. Early 90's. Was that the Betty Boop era? "Hold on to your souls y'all. We got a long way to go. Thank you! We love y'all!"

Ya'll have to remember that he was in the ENTERTAINMENT business. He was an entertainer. If you know anything "personally" about that busines than stuff like this should not irk you! It's freaking NORMAL just like breathing to behave that way. It is somewhat expected even and considered a rite of passage.

there are peronal stories and then there are very personal stories. the very personal, unless it directly involves the person telling it, should be left alone. imo

I believe as fans of public figures we have to be willing to accept that our favorite folks in the entertainment and their staff, handlers, and so forth work hard to keep a squeaky clean image of that specific star at all costs because otherwise they would not make money. I"m not saying Prince did this but often entertainers lie to the public about who they REALLY are by only saying what fans and public want to hear in interviews or their music. Some have work policies that staff cannot tell even the slightest story that may show them in a negative light, & some have even been known to go to borderline shady lengths to protect their image because the industry knows that if we seen our favorite celebrities in their normal day to day happenings which often means doing the crap that reg men or women often do that isn't great in the world, it's gonna affect the pocket books of all involved. Are there folks that will make up bad crap to spin a negative light on famous folks? Yes. There are also folks that when they have been close the celebrity person in a work setting or personal setting that once they are away from them or that person is no longer here they feel safe to tell the public "real truths"

Prince was not doing any that bad if you compare it stories about rock groups. In addition, any woman that wound stand by some limo and wait is a fool. I am sure he did not put no gun to anyone head and force them hang out with them.

I agree. The very personal stories add no value to the narrative. Knowing some personal history helps to understand the entertainer and the inspiration for their music.

I know! I don't think there is anything wrong with what this woman said. She was just giving you details that add to the zeitgiest and allow the reader to understand the culture of working in the entertainment industry. Women and drug use are things that go on in the music industry and all she was doing was just giving examples of the "crazy" world she was working in. Besides it is no secret that there were always women around Prince, sometimes I think some fans get so upset with these kind of stories because they are emotionaly invested in some sort of fantasy or image of Prince and any kind of information that challenges their idealized version of him upsets them so they redirect their disapointment towards the messanger. I don't believe anyone is surprised, just some things are better left unsaid sometimes, especially after the person in question has passed away. I'd feel this way about anyone's privacy not just Prince.

He had probably hooked up with enough women and at some point figured out that by letting them take a bath, he would be sure there would be no surprises once he got in bed with them. Plus, by watching them take a bath, he can still make up his mind whether he really wants to hook up with them or not. Rock star with control issues. He's like the Gene Simmons of R&B.
