I have been with Simon this morning and he showed me the base Prince ordered in its first stages. He told me he has telephone calls from a man called Kirk!, I filled him in on who Kirk was😂 He wants to finish this bass, Prince wanted it in
Black and gold. He wants to know from his real fams if he should or is allowed to put his symbol on it? What is the deal on copyright at the mom? I showed him my Prince flip flops which I bought on ebay! He thought he should emboss it in a different shade of black so it looks a bit like a 3d image! I do have photos on my phone but havnt a clue how to get them on here! Ideas please and I can pass them on.👍

If it was me I'd finish it exactly the way Prince requested than keep it for myself....if he's trying to market it and change the paint etc as the example of your flip flops..than use the symbol, thats different.. I'm not a attorney but I have used a patent attorney in the past...id give them a call find out what the deal is.

The symbol is trademarked. He needs to contact Bremer Trust to get licensing if he wants to do it right and with respect.
That will also officialize it and allow the licensing to be shown.

He was thinking of auctioning it and giving some of the proceeds to some of Princes charities. I dont think keeping it would have the same meaning to him as it would to us! He could always give it to me! 😂😂

When we put a labor of love and Pay it forward... it's what Prince did so much of. Gosh we all miss him so much love.
