It's nice. Real chill out. But I prefer 'One nite alone'.
I think he should have kept Xenophobia on it. That was the best one. Prince is defiantly at his best right now. [This message was edited Tue Apr 1 15:14:52 PST 2003 by CAMILLE4U] NOTE: THIS ACCOUNT IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE CONTACT “K A M L L E”

it has it's moments. For me they are Xhalation, Xcogitate, Xotica and Xogenous. The rest is blah.

I'm stealing this, but the album truly is a new direction in elevator music.
Count me as a nay. | |

I think it shows a great tallent within the band
also think it is alot better than anything by madhouse. He is showing the great spectrum of style and tallent he has.And yeah I agree that its more of a side project I carnt wait to hear whats next

An excellent, excellent set of tracks, and perfectly suited as a "gift" to NPGMC members at the end of year 2. I love it. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

s'ok. not as good as the Madhouse stuff (not as adventurous), but better than Kamasutra (not bogged down in its own pretentiousness).

Madhouse 8 is pretty good, but 16 sucks my ass.

I like it a lot. To me, it's right on par with Madhouse 8.

The first time I heard it I was like "WHAT?" I couldn't relate to it at all.. So I listen to like once and then forgot about it.. about 1 month ago, I "re-discovered" it and I think it sounds fantastic!!

I like it a lot. I still see it as a continuation of the
madhouse albums. It has some very nice tunes on it and I like the relaxed vibe in most of the songs. It doesn't sound so forced. I still prefer the Japanese C-Note tracks though, those are really something else. But Xpectation is def a wish come true since I had longed for another madhouse or instrumental album ever since 89. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

All I can say about it is:
"You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "
