they made navigating it so hard because otherwise you'd have sussed out the fact that apart from the albums, there was no real content
its true there wasnt anything good on it at all...where did Prince find these web designers at?
he should have just released music through the org the music was good enough, and we would have been able to do promo by way of picture threads

Genesia said: Some of the nastiest lyrics he ever wrote. I always thought it was about a wet dream, based on the "celibate mushroom canopy" thing. He isn't really doing the deed, but he's dreaming about it. "Butterscotch mountains" (breasts), "run your fingers up and down the obelisk in the earth" (give him a hand job), "dine on one another's ooze" (oral sex), "volcano magic" (I don't think I have to explain that). Yeah - it's pretty much all there.
I've been meaning to get out the LP and run the choruses backward to find out what he masked. And people think the JW's cleaned up our Rude Boy. Brilliantly weird song. |

I think messing with the Org brought out the funk in Prince and P.F.U. was a total mess...I mean folks were serious about that I damn near stopped posting Prince pics now that was serious |

Housequake was the best though. This place never really compared to that. And that's why he did not even bother with this place. |

Okay, thanks for the reply. I guess that was something that only made sense in Prince's mind. I never heared that version, but I really like The Morning After.
Boom just ends a little more clearly to me on the digital version, if I remember right. I downloaded the wav files from the site and burned a CD for safekeeping. I'll need to dig it out. On the physical release, it always bugged me a bit that the last beat of Boom is the first beat of C&C...kind of an odd blending.
I've never liked the Boom to Crimson transition. I like my Lotus with the digital track list but with C&C as a bonus track at the end. RIP |
