Words are very powerful.

Maya Angelou talked a lot about this concept.
And for those of us who are spiritual seekers, we know that wha we say creates our own reality: oir perspective of our circumstances and also the actual future we will experience.

One thing I'm hearing a lot is that Prince is "gone". I know it's just a common phrase we have in our society, and also that's how we think of it because we can't see him.

But he is not gone. He is in the sweet winds that blow.
People who are close to God can tell you this.

I've had to be careful too of not saying this but it's becoming natural now to talk about it using other words, as I've also seen so many others do. ❤️

I wanted to post this not to make anyone feel bad or guilty, but because I know Prince dug the Org.

His lyrics from Comeback:

"If you ever lose someone
Dear to you
Never say the words their gone
They'll come back, yeah"

Acts 24:15 (among many other scriptures). The resurrection. They will indeed come back, yeah. Prince knew. cool

I also like his lyrics to Reflection on this subject:

"Still it's nice to know
That when our bodies wear out
We can get another
What does that one thing have to do with the other one?
I don't know
I was just thinking about my Mother"

Great song all round really. I can just imagine him sitting on the stoop, playing his guitar, but of course the cars wouldn't be going by for long once he was spotted sitting there. A lot of meaning and yearning in that song.

I cant listen to A case of U without crying.

To me it feels like hes gone,

In time Ill think of him as ' In the sweet winds that blow'

but until then..

cry

Baby, you're a star.

Meet me in another world, space and joy

I second this emotion. I feel he is here just in a different way. I still miss the Prince as we all knew him. But I believe in the afterlife, and he still has "life," just in a different form.

I find the last verse of that song (which he didn't sing) particularly poignant:

I met a woman

She had a mouth like yours

She knew your life

She knew your devils and your deeds

And she said

"Go to him, stay with him if you can

But be prepared to bleed"

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Beautiful.

It would have been wonderful to hear him sing it. Still, the part he did sing...

Baby, you're a star.

Beautiful lyrics such a shame he didn't sing them. Words have built this worlD in which we live in.

Thank you for this post .. I agree with all that you say as I absolutely believe that words, thoughts, and emotions create our reality.

.

Knowing Prince has crossed over, his talent seems more magical than ever.

.

Thanks to the org, I have learned about so many new Prince songs since he passed. Comeback is one of my top 5 new favorites.

.

In only 2:00 Prince so perfectly distilled the raw emotions he felt at the time, which has the ring of truth. It's not a song that I would crank up while driving ... but a song to listen to alone to reset my connection to the higher power.

.

So much truth, so much beauty ... what a gift that song is.

Show your heart to me.

Indeed. I've been thinking about this a lot.

It almost doesn't seem real that we all got to share so much of our lives with a person that amazing. To be in the same room as him on so many occasions - and for me and many others, to talk to him, one on one.

His passing sometimes feels like the end of a very incredible dream. I guess we all have to leave Narnia sometime.....
