Some people might have Newsweek but not Time, and vice versa. To give everyone a chance to grab an issue they definitely don't have, perhaps offer your copy in another thread? I'm happy to include it as a third mag in my drawing but would want to make sure the winner isn't getting a duplicate of something they already have.

I realized today that I ended up with an extra copy of Time magazine's commemorative Prince issue. I'd like to give one away to one of you fine folks.

Please, if you have a copy already, don't post here. I want this to go to someone who hasn't been able to get a copy for whatever the reason may be.

To enter the drawing, just post in this thread "include me", and on midnight CST Wednesday, August 27, I'll cut off entries. I'll put all the post numbers into a bowl and one of my kids will draw a winner. I'll post the winner here, and the winner will need to orgnote me their mailing address. I'll even cover shipping.

Orger AA1slot has also posted that they too have an extra copy of this same magazine to contribute to this drawing. That makes three copies that will be given away by random drawing from a list of anyone posting in this thread that they'd like to be included.

I have read that some copies from Amazon are poor quality photo copies. If you purchase one from Amazon, how do you know you're getting the real deal?!

Bought mine locally as well...still in the store's bag...

I bought mine locally at the Barnes and Noble. I put my magazines in a scrap booking case until I was ready to look at them. Recently I looked through what I have & found there were 2 of the Time issue. After reading Doozers post it felt like the right thing to offer the extra copy - I know it will end up with someone who will appreciate...and maybe in some way "pay it forward" in the future
