as a former Mormon "Jack"....I never understood the holy underwear (and as was taught in Sunday School) deal except that if the rapture did come, the holy drawers were to be fire proof, bullet proof, arrow proof and would usher us safely into the clouds, it was an outward sign of our faith and a reminder of how we were to remember who we are. The drawers were different when I was in that church, the women's were long pants but preferably a long skirt with long sleeves and a separate bust area for nursing. Today I see it is bermuda like shorts and short sleeve tees.
