A while ago, there was massive speculation on torn trousers/whether he had a little bit of stretchy fabric there to allow for splits and jumping around during this era. The 1st one seems to show a little stretchy triangle that would allow for such acrobatics (or am imagining things?). Verdict from our seamstresses/clothing mistresses on the thread?
