As awesome as his career was, what we saw most likely that was just the tip of the iceberg of his entire life and experience. No one knows anyone completely...even we ourselves! I'm sure we surprise ourselves by our own reactions, feelings and decisions when moving through "this thing called life".

I've run the gamut of feelings myself, but I'm coming around to choosing to hold on to the positive things that we do know- Prince was a musical genius, who loved his Creator and humanity.

And as for everything else he has my compassion, empathy and gratitude.

That makes Prince, plus every other human being you've ever met or seen or heard about. In other words, we need to reevaluate everything we thought we knew about everyone. Doesn't quite seem worth it...
