Do you wear your Prince t-shirts?

When you wear them out do you get any reactions?

Ever seen any other random folks wear them?

In MPLS I saw plenty of other folks wearing them.

Here in LA I've seen ONE.

I just exchanged phone numbers with a woman in Target who commented how much she loved my Purple Rain original T with the black and white doves.

What are your stories if any??

I have been wearing a beautiful purple shirt with a large rainbowish prince and Prince over the symbol. I've got quite a few comments to people stopping and saying they like it to people stopping sharing their love/grief for Prince. I enjoy the response.

I just saw a guy wearing a purple symbol t-shirt in LA too yesterday. I was driving so I just honked my horn and gave him a thumbs up. The issue I have with Prince t-shirts is they are too gaudy. The emblems or the pics on them are too big. The only one I wear is the one I got in 2009. The Lotusflow3r t-shirt. That one is cool and the image is not too big.

I've got that one too; one of 2 from the Lovesexy tour; the other one is Prince's face on white divided into different eras.

At first I was a bit apprehensive about wearing this one but I put it on every now and then.

I feel the same about many of the official shirts also. However, I think my favorite over the years, was my Emancipation Jam of the Year shirt with the symbol; I wore it out and literally wore it out so much I had to "retire" it.

I've been wearing the one and only one I own a bit more since his passing. I've gotten looks from people who do a double take to make sure they saw right then tap the person they are with and point like hey its another prince fan! I really wish now I had bought some (older) tshirts they were selling at PP the wknd I was there last fall. I figured there would be many more opportunities to do so.

I don't like round neck t-shirts. The nude tour was the only one I bought. I would like 2 get one made (white tank & a v-neck T). The Lovesexy YES symbol on the front & a purple 7 on the back, with a lyric under it. Anyone know of anywhere i could get that done without costing me an arm & a leg? I live in london btw. yes

I don't wear t shirts or jeans so I don't have any. Where I live in Australia I haven't seen one.
Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

You can buy a cotton tanktop/ V-neck T + t-shirt transferfolie and do it yourself (hot iron)?

In the Netherlands you can buy them online http://www.123inkt.nl/123...12488.html (this one is for colored t-shirts, they have them also for white t-shirts)

I'm wearing a Piano and Microphone tour shirt (black) and have another one that I've put it. Everytime I go out in it, I hear, "I love that shirt!" That opens up a discussion about being at his last concert and what a fantastic artist he is, and everyone agrees. I get more compliments on this shirt than any other Prince shirt I've worn over the years.

Thank you. It says 'De gevraagde pagina is niet gevonelen' etc. There's some sort of stop/warning sign too.

rogifan, that shirt's beautiful!

I needed to retire my Purple Rain shirt years ago so it wouldn't wear out.

I never got any other P shirts over the years. I dunno why not.

I feel compelled to get a nice memorial shirt now though. I just wanna find the right one.

I wear my Lotusflower T-Shirt like it's no thing - it's the 4% spandex that really sets it off as a "sleep with me" t-shirt.

Also have the old 1995 symbol guitar T-shirt. It is faded. Only worn in public as hormonal teenager. I'm hoping to donate it to Max Keiser for as much money that was lost on his Crash JP Morgan Buy Silver campaign.

I've noticed a number of people wearing purple or having purple dyed hair since Prince died, and I've asked them if they were a Prince fan, and so far, four out four were!

I wear mine proudly, but sparingly. Now that he's gone, it has to last for the rest of my life and I don't want anything to happen to it.

I had so many Prince tshirts in the 80s/early 90s but years ago I got rid of almost all of them, which I've regretted for awhile and even more so since April. sad I even had a very rare Paisley Park Studios shirt I got at an equipment expo there in the late 80s and I don't have that anymore either. ugh It looked like this except mine was a beige/white and the logo was in brown and tans and yellowish tones:

-

I still have this tshirt (the pic isn't my shirt, just one like mine). I wear it and love it.

-

I also have a bright yellow shirt with a large purple symbol on it and a lavender and purple baby tee with a small symbol on the front but I don't wear those often.

-

An ex of mine had (probably still has) so many vintage Prince tees and I think he even has one from the Triple Threat tour...I'd LOVE to get my hands on that shirt!

The only T-shirt I have is the one I bought during the SOTT Tour: it was black and with tiny peach letters it said 'SOTT' (duuh). But that has been completely washed away over time. So now I'm wearing my TWD T-shirt saying "Because Daryl said so".
But I'm thinking about buying a new Prince T-shirt like the white one in Stephaniethepisces' post above. I've seen it on eBay and I think it's cool.

I have 2 one I bought at his concert 12 years ago and one I found at Tower records years ago. Throughout the years I've gotten LOTS of compliments. I don't want any new t-shirts cause i'm not a new fan.

I have about 3 tanks, a sweatshirt from the PR tour that I bought on ebay over 10 years ago (which is now going for like $400-800 eek ), and a Parade shirt. I feel like I got more compliments on them pre 4/21. However I have a symbol necklace that I wear quite often and I've received a ton of compliments on that. About a month ago I was going through security at the airport and one of TSA ladies looked at the necklace, looked at me and said "Aren't you a little young to be a Prince fan?" rolleyes I matter of factly said NOPE and kept moving. I also just had a custom bodysuit made (to wear with jeans, shorts, etc) that has the "PR Face" on it. Can't wait until it's delivered biggrin

There are tons of symbol necklaces of all sizes and prices on Ebay, but they're all the 'new' symbol and not the 'original' one like this one which is the one I want (and have bid on a few times since April but lost every auction so far! argh)

LOLOL!!! I hate it when people ask me that. I've been asked this question for YEARS and it is no less annoying to me now. I'm not really into having faces on my shirts. I like subtle shirts. That custom bodysuit would totally be up my ally!! Something not too obvious. You would have to pay attention to catch it. I rock my symbol necklace everyday too! Would love an original though...sigh.

nod it'll look like this

But of course, with this

I like custom things that I know little to no one will have.

The woman at the airport was ridiculous. I couldn't even respond with anything else lol You can find a ton of symbol necklaces on Etsy! I get a lot of custom items there!
