Yeeesh, over the last decade? It's easily 3121 then. The other stuff is 50/50, so 3121 would be the best of those. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

Lotusflower and HNR2 are among my favorites from his entire career, not just the last ten years. 3121 turned me from a very casual fan to hardcore. | |

Hmm... If I go strictly by the number of tracks I like, it's 20TEN, followed by AOA, 3121, LotusFlow3r, H&R's, Planet Earth...

Lotusflow3r by a landslide. The guitar work on this album is the craziest Prince ever put on an album. Love the fact that tracks with Michael B and Sonny ended up surfacing. And throw in some classic sped-up vocals on $ - this album is a modern classic.

AOA is, I believe, the one I am going to continue listening to regularly the longest. I love Hitnrun 2 as well, folowed by Lotusflower and 3121. And a lot of tracks from all the others! | |

Probably ArtOfficial Age. Not sure why but it seemed to harken back to that multi-layered Prince sound I've always liked and had a nice flow to it. The coda is just spectacularly huanting with the callback of"Way Back Home" and, for once, the "concept" and the segues don't detract from the music. | |

I understand why most would think LotusFlow3r as its probably the best musically and its got Michael and Sonny on but my pick would be AOA. Love the likes of Clouds, Breakdown, Time and most of all the hauntingly beautiful Way Back Home | |

I think this debate proves that the last decade was very strong. For me, 1. AOA, 2. 3121, 3. Lotus/MPLS, 4. HNR 2, 5. Planet Earth, 6. 20ten, 7. Plectrum, 8. HnR 1. My top 4 are exceptional and interchangeable. I trashed Phase 1 when it came out. I now think it has some redeeming moments, in part, because Prince played many of the tracks the last time I saw him on January 23 at Paisley and it made me appreciate some of the songs. | |

Lotusflow3r I guess cuz for me Prince + guitar = magic! I also dig AOA and PE equally. Haven't given the others a thorough enough listen yet to include them in my consideration. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN | |
