From all the tributes I've come across D'angelos performance of sometimes lit snows in April was the most moving
Everything else has been mediocre and not quite right Madonnas as was truely the worst tribute - shocking even!!! How do u feel about the tributes you've seen? [Edited 7/15/16 14:39pm] mailto:www.iDon'tThinkSo.com.Uranus

IMO, BET's tribute was excellent, especially Bilal's rendition of "The Beautiful Ones," which has been widely hailed. BTW, I wish D'Angelo had been there at that tribute, as well.

The same as you. Only D'Angelo's struck my heart. I can do without all the others.

D'Angelo's was very meaningful and you could tell it was from the heart. Bet was acceptable to me only because the Billboard's was horrible and I was looking for anything that was remotely decent. To be honest, nothing lived up to the kind of tribute I thought he deserved. I wished he would have had a tribute dedicated just to him honoring him in various ways. I'm really surprised there wasn't something like that done for him. [Edited 7/15/16 16:46pm]

Prince's former saxophonist BK Jackson and the FAMU Symphonic Band at the FAMU 2016 Commencment
Choir of 1999 voices singing "When Doves Cry"
Are the ones that struck me as quite befitting the sole purpose of simply honoring Prince and his music. [Edited 7/15/16 18:37pm] I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Yes IMO the D'angelo tribute was by the far the very best for me and then closely behind is Sheila's amazing tribute on BET which was fire!
Never saw the chorus above which is quite moving and the sax player I saw somewhere is truly inspiring!!!! Tears start flowing again... [Edited 7/16/16 13:54pm] The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

They're all good (well except Madonna's) but they're all missing the most important ingredient...P's voice. Paisley Park is in your heart

I suspect the 2017 Grammys will do the same for Prince. Paisley Park is in your heart

I like Adele'. She's the only person that had sense enough to just leave his music alone.

This one just breaks my heart all over again. I love all the choir tributes..There's a sorrowful yearning in their voices ringing out in unison for him...

I've enjoyed the fact that so many people did tributes at all. My only complaint is when they sing Nothing Compares To You and they get the lyric "it's been 7 hours and 13 days" wrong.
Gah! Drives me crazy. Learn the lyrics, dammit all to Hell ! [Edited 7/18/16 15:26pm]
