She showed him style..showed him how to be fearless..showed him other style of music to incorporate into his music to make him what he was in the eightes. The crown Prince of music..ALL music because he did it all (evens emi classical with Venus DeMilo). And the embelleshments Wendy (and Lisa) provided were not only top notch but gave his music that flair that made it like nothing else out there at that time. If it wasn't for her Prince owuld have never prospered. He would have remained in a purple funk forever. Thank god for Wendy (and Lisa). She ( and Lisa) elevated his game.April Fools lol

I believe this is why so many await the revival of the Revolution...

Wendy and Lisa definitely were integral to what Prince was in the 80s. His music was more magical because of their presence and influence.

I miss Wendy & Lisa.

on testament, which i have thanks to some cool-ass mofo out west (teehee), there's a demo/alternate version of "girls and boys" and hearing wendy (i think?) say "fer god's SAKE" before the song begins makes my heart go pitter-pat.

plus there are the trevor horn wendy and lisa sessions which i now have - again, thanks to a certain orger (who some people call rude, but i just wish we all were nude, i wish there was no black and white, i wish there were no rules) but have yet to listen to. Good point rd. I remember reading somewhere that Lisa or Wendy introduced Prince to the Beatles prior to ATWIAD which is supposed to have influenced his "hippy album"

I have a strong feeling that if a certain someone accepts a certain Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction (and that's a big IF, I know), there could be a strong chance of a certain Revolutionary Revival...don'tcha think? If the HOF could bring The Police and the Talking Heads back together for one night, then who knows...?
