I hate that speculate is all we can EVER do now. With pending releases we'd inevitably get an answer to all the presumed, preferred tracklists etc. I can't help but think that P would've done, or said SOMETHING in light of Baton Rouge and especially Minneapolis (with Philando), not to mention Dallas. A show, a new song, an appearance, a tweet? We can only wonder. We all knew Freddie Gray wasn't the last, Prince just randomly stated LA to make a point, who knew it'd escalate to this level tho. Miss dude, damn.

They miss him, for sure. They played Purple Rain at the peaceful march (which was broken up by some folks wanting to cause trouble.)

In some way, I envision him actually going down to talk peace...but then I think he'd have been in too much danger.

But a statement and peace concert? yeah.

I was thinking about when especially concerning Minn. and wondering what he would think and do for his home state in these tragic times. He certainly would've done something. I always imagined later in his life, he would've focused more on societal work, community, etc. Miss him greatly.
