Nice! I saw that Amazon (US version) has two listings for Lotus on vinyl. One is scheduled for September, but the other is from a third-party seller and is available now. Perhaps that's an import pressing?

Look again... I think it does. It's the part that has the track titles between the raspberry beret and the pop life ladies (based on the single covers). If you look at the top there, you'll notice it's a separate bit.

Yeah, it does look like it. You can also tell it doesn't line up perfectly where the sidewalk around the water is.

Received email today indicating item is currently unavailable. Called Amazon who simply states it isn't yet available in their warehouses (Even though record stores have it)... I received a one month extension on my Prime account due to guaranteed delivery date not being honored.

NO official word on when it will get here.

I don't think any of the 2016 re-issues are coming in 180-gram.

I ordfered mine from Barnes & Noble. Received shipping confirmation (w/tracking number) on Saturday. Tracked shipment and it's in transit to it's destination. Have to assume then it's real and will be here shortly...hopefully within the next day or two.

Answering my own question, I just picked up Parade from a record shop in Oxfordshire, England. They said it arrived at the weekend. Let's see if they get ATWIAD before Amazon…

Haven't cracked the wrap on it yet, but picked it up this morning and it looks beautiful. They include the wraparound flap - as stated above - but ALSO: the "boy with the balloon" is printed on the shrinkwrap itself.

Correction - just got home and gave it a closer look - the "boy with the balloon" image is a sticker on the shrinkwrap. All in all, a beautiful reproduction of the original release!

exact same release as 1985. The balloon sticker is stuck to the shrink wrap. The perforated flap is there as well. The spine still says Paisley Park. The fine print is the only difference, it now says 1985 NPG Records.

Off topic from your last post, but I've been thinking about your predicament with original pressings of Lovesexy not tracking on your turntable. You mentioned before (I think) that your copy has space in between individual tracks, like most records. If so, does this mean that yours is a promo copy like mine? If that's the case, I wonder if a non-promo copy might track properly.

No, mine and the 2 others I have tried are all US commercial first pressings.

I might not have communicated properly. There is not silence between Eye No & Alphabet St., HOWEVER, by looking at the vinyl it is visually clear where to drop the needle if you want go directly to Alphabet St. Does that make sense? Sorry if I mispoke before.

I didn't notice the OP incorrectly stated the boy and balloon illustration was "printed" on the shrinkwrap instead of an adhesive sticker. We are all understandably pedantic about these records.
