I Could Never Take / Strange Relationship

...from The Dream Factory ... are just so much better than those on SOTT - in fact The Dream Factory is a perfect CD, shame it never saw the offical light of day. The Sitar at the beginning at Strange Relationship on The Dream Factory and the percussion is awesome. As for I Could Never Take The PLace of Your Man on The Dream Factory, just that little breakdown in the middle is awesome... are you feelin' me on this?

If the DF version was what was released, everyone would be salivating over the SOTT version that would not have been released. We love what we dont have. This is a semi generalization because I know I love me some We Can Funk unreleased midnite version. But seriously..call it blasphemy against Wendy and Lisa but I love the released version of Strange Relationship. It has that ummph to it that moves me. The other one is ethereal-like ( which is still cool) but it doesn't have that groove-stomp that I need.

I like them both, but I have to admit that I
prefer the released versions. They just seem
to 'work' better.
