Who's up for a laugh? Owen Husney's words about Prince's earlier life: "We were visiting radio stations and no one had any money, so Prince and I were sharing hotel rooms. Prince always had to have music on loud all night. It was the only way he could sleep. I remember in San Francisco, he was sound asleep, the clock radio is blaring at 4 in the morning. I reached over and hit the off button. He shot up and said, “Never, ever turn off the radio. im like that with the television...ESPN sportcenter playing over and over again whilst i snore...my wife waking me up because she cant find the remote to turn it off, stomping around the bedroom mumbling shit under her breath, cause im laying on the remote she cant find...then after she manually turn the tv off, she falls back asleep, i turn that joint back on....i hate darkness combined with quietness in the middle of the night ...i need some music or sports playing while i sleep... | |

This is an awesome story, not only for the laughs but for the career overview. Juggling everything and finding ways to move forward--the depth of his grief with loss of his children, his marriages and then his parents.
But he made it through all that and matured. Someone mentioned that growth in an early interview (even though he was still a bit upset because a club project fell through).
