Good 4 her I wish her the best. Didn't she have a coke problem back in the day? I ain't trying 2 start anything just asking a question. Cuz if she could get over that, she get over this.While still deeply saddened that he's transitioned, I'm glad his unexpected passing spurred Chaka and her sister to both seek help - sooner, rather than later - since they also are battling the same addiction. I'm in the news again

Yes. She did have a cocaine issue that she got treatment for. It may have been recurring.. because I remember her saying once that she completed rehab for it in 2005. I think that particular habit may have started back in the 70s during her Black Panther days. | |
