While still deeply saddened that he's transitioned, I'm glad his unexpected passing spurred Chaka and her sister to both seek help - sooner, rather than later - since they also are battling the same addiction. I'm in the news again

Yes. She did have a cocaine issue that she got treatment for. It may have been recurring.. because I remember her saying once that she completed rehab for it in 2005. I think that particular habit may have started back in the 70s during her Black Panther days. | |
