How do you run out of hairstyles? The last one he had was a style Love for the fro

The "afro" is a "hair style," which celebrates and symbolizes the natural beauty of African people as well as a more mature person realizing that a natural hair style is a healthier hair style. As it relates to the music, even in the last few years, Prince was still producing a good amount of music that moved me. Thus, the "afro" fit well with what he was doing musically, even if I like HitnRun Phase 2 much more than HitnRun Phase 1.

The real question is, what would his NEXT hairstyle be after the fro? You know he wouldn't have kept that forever. His hairstyle was always morphing. Wonder if he would have done full on dreads? IDK just wondering and thinking. Also, after his death, I sort of saw the fro as a complete revolution in his career. Started out with the fro in the 70's and ended at his death, completing the circle. Thoughts?

I seriously doubt he would have loc'd. It's more permanent, & he wouldn't have wanted to be that dedicated to one style (though once they grow out, you can do so many things with them).

True. I would have loved to see it though! HOT! And also a more organic look than some of his past more processed styles. I loved all of them though, processed and not. Every one.

I wasn't. I wanted him to go back to the perm or cut off all his hair. He didn't necessarily have to be bald, but he could've got a fade or something. I was tired of looking at that afro. Of course we now know the reason now, but I still wished that was the last hair style he had.

For people who think the afro could have been a wig: if it was a wig it would have been thicker and more tightly shaped. There were times I saw the afro and was like "damn, dude, fix that shit". I didn't like the fro on him anyway and the fact that it was often all over the place and uneven only added to it.

I still would love to have seen him go full on George Costanza/Larry david:

No he did not run out of hairstyles. He did however find odd inspiration for hairstyles/clothing choices. Case in point:

This look also inspired the phrase "How funkay is yo chicken?!"
The chickens got pissed that P jacked their look and to rebel they started growing purple feathers.
