I love all of Prince's hairstyles, including the fro. The hairstyles where works of his artistry and himself in my opinion..

There's a youtube video around that you can really tell the fro was his real hair. He was thinning in the crown and when the light shone down on him (the camera was filming from above him) you could see his scalp, so yes it was real.

I loved the short, tight fro, but not so much when he let it get long. Kinda engulfed his lil self.

Prince brought back the afro. Everyone is wearing their hair natural now, myself included. That's his God given African American hair and it's georgous. The others where pressed, permed, jheri curled and straighten.
