these days, since he passed, i wish i'd thanked him when he walked by, just once. just, called out "hey thanks!" or something but i think he knew i was grateful anyway. so, best not bump into the man's life and bash him up with my gratitude. he was cool though, and sexxxxxay. sometimes, i'd know he was near the crowd somewhere in the dark because a whiff of lavender would precede him...

it was kind of... lavender/myrtle mix. with a citrus tinge, sometimes. really fresh, like a breeze through an orchard. otherwise, Paisley Park was often a little smnoky from candles and incense, which also smelled great. i guess prince really rounded out his world with scents, in a good way

i don't see how he did that, scents usually hurt my voice as a singer, i'm allergic to incense and I hate those car fresheners, I'll take my own funk over cologne any day. It didn't hurt him, his voice was usually in fine form and that's a major task in itself.
