So - did we ever find out what "the egg" building at Paisley was for sure? Was that where he was living the last few years? Or was it ever finished/put to use? Was always curious about that.

It does seem The Egg is a big mystery. The Org gallery had it listed as a restaurant which was cancelled.

I was thinking if Paisley Park is opened to a musuem, the Egg could display clothes or stuff like that. It will depend on the layout of the building.

I always was told by other fans and I always presumed as well that the circular building was a spiritual temple for him built after he became JW. Place for prayer, solitude, peace, meditation, song writing maybe. ect could be a library too.

I believe The Egg is the infamous warehouse where all the old costumes, sets and other items were stored. One recent story talked about him handing the key to someone and they opened it up.

The Egg is not big enough for all that... I do believe the prior reports that it was originally intended to be a restaraunt/food resource of some sort.

i recall him tweeting that mostly poker games happen in there. i assumed it was where he made 'omelets', out of 'dove' eggs
