Prince The Wordsmith I find Prince's use of language in his lyrics both interesting and unique. The way he repeats phrases but with a thematic variation like in WDC: 'Dig if you will...' then 'Touch if you will...'. Also, in The Love We Make he starts the first verse with an adjective as in 'Desperate is the day...' then again later with 'Blessed are we...'. Phrases like 'hundalasilia' (sp?)and song titles such as 'Superfunkacalifragisexy'are quite unusual too. Prince seemed to like experimenting with the use of language and I can imagine him jotting down unusual words/phrases he came across. Which examples of Prince's use of language do you think are the most poetic, striking or interesting?

He had his own language too Princebonics but yeah he was very good at putting certain words together.

And Prince surely took a nod from Parliament with songs like "Aquaboogie (Psychoalphadiscobetabioaquadoloop)", "Gloryhallastoopid", etc. And I would bet they partially took a lead from Mary Poppins, in some regard, even if it was subconscious. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

The man's spiritual channel was clear. Allowed for uniqueness and creativity.

I like his use of words, makes sings like Chelsea Rogers a fun challenge to try to figure out. Butt like the letter 'C'! Really? I had to turn around and look in the mirror to see what my butt looked like.
