Japanese Remasters? Hope every-1 is well and wondering if the Japanese CD versions of Prince's albums are remastered? Anyone know? They're up on Ebay if you type in (under Music) "Prince Japan." I saw "For You," "Prince," "Dirty Mind', "Controversy" "Purple Rain" and "Around The World In a Day." Thanks! Long live His Royal Badness! <3 Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up. | |

The FOREVER YOUNG series I believe were remastered in 2005, according to Discogs.

The 2009 SHM Japanese CDs (I think they are what you are seeing) are great. Nice packaging, higher volume, better CD quality, but not remasters. . |

They sound great and the packaging are replicants of the original LP packaged. Controversy comes with the Prince in the shower poster. Worth getting them if they're still available 1980-Present
