Prince and Scar on Leg Just wondering if anyone ever found out what the scar on Prince's lower leg was from.

I do not know but that has nothing to do with hip surgery or replacement. I have wondered if he had arthritis. I know they can go in and scrape out cartilage. Do not know but he may have had more than issue. | |

Watch Kevin Smith's interview about working with prince in 2001/2002 as he actually mentions prince complained of having a sore knee at the time, I'm guessing he's likely to have had a problem with his knee that also required an operation. Yes along with having his hip replaced which I can't believe so many fans are still in denial about... | |

Yeah, I thought it was pretty well established that Prince did have that hip surgery. I think we read it soon after April 21 from solid source(s) but as time goes on we complicate what we already knew and forget. As for the ankle didn't he have a fall on stage and hurt his ankle? Sometime in the 90s I think? | |

Hell I know he had bad knees...one of my knees gives me problems just from walking up and down hospital floors for 20 years so I know damn well that Prince had messed up knees and hips too. Have ya'll noticed the heights of some of the things he use to jump off of and in high heels. Poor guy did it all for us too | |

Not only his knees and hips, but from looking at pictures of Prince over the last two years I am sure that he suffered from some other terminal illness. The changes in his appearance happened quickly so whatever it was he had a hard time with it. I know some of you dont like to hear that, but it seems that way to me. | |

Yeah quite clearly. Plus I'm pretty sure there weren't any cushioning in those boots back then. All the impact would have definitely damaged his knees. Life Matters | |

Especially in the 80's. I know with his money he couldve had special stuff put on the inside of those heels later in life, but by then the damage was done | |

Nothing beyond the Medical Examiner's report. He has a scar on or around his knee that's all we know. | |

There is also footage of a soundcheck online I just watched recently dating from very early 2000s as he has long hair.. He is standing with his guitar sound checking with the band and between songs talking into the mic to fans who are inside the venue watching. At one point he mentions that he has a sore knee or leg so won't be doing any dancing tonight or words to that effect | |
