YES! I've only listened to Prince since his passing. It's so strange, because I love all kinds of music. You'd think I'd get into the mood for some classical or another genre. Nope. Just Prince. And it's not really intentional, like in an homage capacity. I just haven't had the desire to listen to anything or anyone else.

Pretty much, although I have been playing some non-Prince music on the stereo and on my guitar lately.

I've always been a fan (owned a handful of his albums, seen him in concert), but until his death I never realized just how truly awesome he was. Being able to see and hear more of his artistry on YT has completely opened my eyes. His albums alone do not do him justice.
To answer the OP's question....yes. Prince has been nearly all I've listened to since April. Now that I know more about Prince and how everything he did was focused around music, every other musician seems like an amateur.

21th April 2016 changed my life. I was working when a friend of mine wrote me that Prince was dead. I was born in 1981 and the song I've ever heard by Prince where "Kiss", "The most beautiful girl in the world" and "The greatest romance". Here in Italy Prince wasn't as exposed as Madonna or Michael Jackson. By the way, I really liked him and I was sicerely sorry for his death. So it was the time to listen to Prince to remeber him. I found that there was no way to find his music, not even in Youtube. But I found his performance of "Motherless Child". It was just like a thunder, an earthquake in my soul. I felt alive in a way I never felt before since my childood. I felt the need to listen more. I am a music lover, every kind of music. But now every thing I hear it seems so gray to me. Prince's music it's full of colors, joy, pain, love, sex. Prince's music has all I need. Needless to say I bought almost all his albums and I listen to Prince daily. It's an addiction? Who cares! My mother is use to say "Since Prince has gone I lost a daughter". How can one not to lose his mind? Prince was The Music itself. In every live (that I unfortunately will not ever be able to see from real), in every interview, in every song you can feel the magic in this human being. He is the incarnation of Music. HIs live performances on Youtube give me goose bumps and often make me cry because he touches my soul so deeply. You know, we italians we live with the myth of Mamma's (mother) cuisine. We are use to go to restaurant and always say " Mmmm my mother does it better". So we are never satisfied with restaurants. For me now it's same with the music. I listen to other music and I think "Mmmmmm Prince does it better". That's why I'm addicted. And let me tell you...I never was so full of life and joy just like now that I listen to Prince music. I beg pardon to you all for my english however I hope the mesage is clear

No. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Yes. Before April, I did listen to Prince pretty much everyday , he was in the daily mix but now. . . now it's nothing but Prince and associated artists. All day, everyday. Wondering when I will break from that but so far that's where I still am. We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . .
