melting away

I've watched so many concerts and listened to so many cd's this weekend so far, I feel like my heart and soul are melting into a massive puddle. Maybe this is it, the final coming to terms with the loss. I feel like I'm losing my mind sometimes, just when I think I understand him, he sends me reeling again. The Montreux Jazz Festival may have sent me over the edge.

Maybe it's time to take a break and breathe in my own world again. Again, so glad The Org. is here to listen. Thank you Prince for all the joy! touched

This is very important for you to do--that's what I've been doing. I'm slowly able to listen to Prince again but not all the time. The music is starting to bring me the joy it used to--which is what I want. I hope you can come back and find that, too. The music will always be there. wink

I hope so, the music has given so much joy and life for many years, I don't want it to just become an epilogue. I want to take it with me forever and share it with my 11 yr old son without tears. Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm going to try this too, thanks for hearing me. Maybe Bowie, I can listen to him without too many tears. Loved him too, but the loss even though a surprise was for a reason I can accept. Lots of cancer deaths in my family. Thanks

I never had the joy to see him live, but I'm buying everthing now I can find. Youtube makes me realize just how much I missed. sad Loved him from the beginning, but feel like I got lost in my day to day life from the end on the 90's on and missed so much. I'm old now (55) and really love his last album Hit n Run Phase 2. So at least I found him again before he was gone.
