Definitely not just you, I completely agree. IT's incredibly endearing somwhow, to see him just...normal. I think that's why I liked this scene so much. Well, almost as much as the ones leading up to it. That smile?! (I posted 4 other gifs from this show just before this one).

I think the reasons I love him in the plaid so much is it's ...quite normal/pedestrian - I mean, plaid was the biggest thing ever in those days. And Prince was ACTUALLY wearing it. That NEVER happened

The dimple makes me swoon EVERY SINGLE TIME I spot it!! That was the cool thing about watching PR & UTCM on the big screen as it was suddenly super easy to spot! Going to have to work on compiling some random dimple gifs
