Kirk, though not a doctor will be investigated even more so. He was with P thru all of it, and even introduced him to his physician that fed him a nice dose of fentanyl prescriptions for years. He needed a legal outlet of course. If we don't believe that Kirk knows everything , that would be like saying Michael Jackson's family had no idea he he was fond of prepubescent boys who looked mixed.
From what the news has reported, P only saw that doctor twice, and he didn't prescribe opiates. Where did you get that he had seen him for years? |

Well that is not what the law believes. I still want to know who was going to administer the med Andrew brought. Also when did Andrew really first see him if he got in the night before...
Andrew was driven to a hotel by one of Prince's "entourage" (most likely, Kirk). Andrew didn't go to PP until shortly before P's body was found the next morning.
There's a "grave condition" but everyone's waiting until the next morning
Yeah...that Prince is in "grave condition" so everyone WAITS? For what...to find him like they did. Ugh so upsetting.
Hind sight is 20/20 as they say. Apparently, Prince did fine every night until the night that he died. So if you were around Prince and he seemed like his old self for the past 4 nights, and you know that a doctor is coming to see him the next day, could you honestly say that you would not have gone home expecting to retrun the next morning? |

Not exactly. Are you saying there are no current addicts who are doing harder drugs than Fentanyl that are not living for years beyond what you would have predicted? One should not be surprised with how many functioning addicts there are. I see it everyday.
The only thing that could be disputed is the accuracy of the dosing when self administered. The konundrum P found himself in was self administering dosasges based on a need to feed a habit. That usually leads to accidental death. |

I ask this because if that's supposition, I have felt that maybe they could have and should have given him one due to his always having paparazzi on his back, and I always wanted to know if they were just being a--holes. I also want to know if they explained carefully and verbally to him that the save shot would wipe out his tolerance to further use (did they give him proper instructions upon his release). Prince was not stupid. I wonder why he didn't know the risks. The story his friend told of being there in the hosp that night...it seems he was calm. Also that story shows that he had to fight for his life and come back to us. He must've been very scared, and when people are scared, sometimes they get demanding to get their needs met. So if he was that way about getting a private room, and the people fought him back not understanding his fear or having compassion for him, then shame on them. I only say this because I KNOW how humans can be.
TMZ said he left after a few hours because he could not get a private room. Mrs. Hill said they stayed until 11:00 am the next day and he was not combative or difficult. This makes me think that TMZ and all of the other news outlets using their info are adding things to get clicks. I hope a reputable reporter we do a real story on this.
The most likely possibility is that he left the ER after three hours and WAS put into a private room BUT it was not revealed to anyone for privacy reasons.
In my opinion, that is actually the most unlikely possibility. He arrived somewhere around 2am and left around 11am. That falls way short of the 24 hours they suggested he stay. He left because the wouldn't give him a private room. -- Because you read it on TMZ so it must be true!!! |

1.People who have a prescription for Fentanyl are not always dying from an interaction with fentanyl. Some do, some don't. I dont think I need to do any research to determine that.
2. As to your second statement, I could not make out what you were trying to convey .You are free to believe whatever you think . It is your opinion.
3. Yes, I have heard of Len Bias. No medical examiner could definitively determine if he used cocaine once in his (22) year life span simply by the sensisivity of his reaction to cocaine or any of its chemical properties that induced a heart attack that day. This is impossible. I am sure you did your research so if you have scientific evidence to refute this, please advise.
4.Yes, you are correct in saying that you can die of an overdose and not be an addict. You can also be an addict and die of an accidental overdose. It happens everyday. |

How is a long term recreational drug user doing these things? I also grew in the same area as Len Bias and I know people who knew him so I have some inside information. It is well known that he stuck his face in a pile of cocaine. Like I said anyone can die from an overdose it does not make them an addict. Please read the article below about people having Rx or just being given Fentanyl after surgery have died from it. This one of many articles and there are lawsuits pending. I am tired of people making up the narrative to fit the sterotype of a rock star gone off the rails. We know as fans that Prince never had a rep as a drugged out dude just look at tour Schudule and discography. We know he was seeing Dr S for withdrawal so he had problem he was trying to fix we just do not how long this was going or how much actual pain he was in. Read the article and tell me at 112 lbs he was going to die using this stuff Rx or no Rx. http://novusdetox.com/fen...-patch.php |

I weighted 115 and I took Percocets all day the day after the surgery. I was not able to move and by the next day I was constipated so badly projectile vomiting started with dry heaves following. May understanding is that all of these pain meds cause this types of problems over time no matter how much tolerance you have. Your to tolerance just means taking more of them you are going to wrecked at some point. According to everyone who worked with him he was still putting in 100 hours a week. Read the Vibe article he has several projects in the can and was touring. I have my doubts he was as strung these things as the media is making it out to be.
That's what people are missing.
There are agents here spinning this into an addiction and it wasn't.
This was something short term at the maximum.

I don't recall where I saw it, but I thought someone had said that the flight records are public info. If this is true, does anyone know how to find out when he really left Moline? Thanks Interesting how there's almost a 45 minute time difference between when the NY Times article said the plane landed..."And when they couldn’t rouse Prince, they alerted the pilot, who called air traffic controllers in Chicago for help at 1:12 a.m., reporting an unresponsive man on board. We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get down, Ms. Hill said. We didn’t have anything on the plane to help him. At 1:17 a.m., it made an emergency landing in Moline, Ill., where an ambulance met them"...and the record above. Wonder how that time discrepancy happened. . An aircraft "arrives" at the gate. P's jet was out on the tarmac for awhile while the paramedics worked; then, it would have had to be stowed somewhere. You make a good point. The plane touched down at a certain time, and later "arrived" at its overnight location. I should have caught that; I worked with aircraft and pilots (military) for a long time. It's all the same process.
