Two docters under the microscope incolving Prince's passing It seems that the actions of two of Prince's docters will be evaluated more carefully because there are suspicions of breakong the rules in prescribing pain killers. History repeats itself. So sad and so immensely avoidable 'Liberate My Mind'

Before the search warrant was sealed it was said that Dr S did not write any Rx for Prince ever and that he wrote to others that were not Opaids and that no pain meds were ever filled at the Walgreens if what you say is true then he got the pills directly from the doctors hands!!!

-// No they did not get everything right. Remember they said he left the hospital in a huff because he could not get a private room. Remember they said he was addicted to Percecets we have not heard anything else about it. Which I knew was bull because I used Percocet and it puts you in your ass. I am going to predict that at one point he had an Rx started abusing it and may have been able to more off the books from Dr. S or some other doctor. If Prince had major trust issues he is not going out into the streets. I will also predict that no one will go to jail for giving the meds even if it was done off the books or just over prescribing. This is going to be hard to prove and I think investigation is quiet. At the end of the Prince may have decided to increase his dosage to keep working and might have found a way to do it no matter.

Is this from a new article on tmz?

It's from an article off the Dutch news site called nu.nl: it Schulenberg and Kornfeld alright. Nu.nl bases its knowledge on sources from TMZ. I'm no US citizen, but I learned that TMZ isn't always the best source (?). 'Liberate My Mind'

There is nothing new in this article. Those 2 doctors have been under the scope since day one. The article states nothing new.

We've known for a long time that both Drs S and K have been under DEA/State investigation. Dr S still hasn't surfaced publicly. Walgreens pharmacy's records were investigated (every prescription going back a certain period was reviewed).
It makes no sense that TMZ would repeat this stuff...unless they got a tip that there's going to be a break in the case soon. They've really had enough time. It's not going to a grand jury; the prosecutor will decide.

I think it is taking so long because they do not have any evidence. I know on line many people think this Dr. Kornfield and his son are suspicious because he son came into town the night before and many people on line have discussed did he or did not provide Prince was the opiod substitue he was carrying in his back pack.
He is already in trouble for bring it across state lines so it should not be to hard to get him to fess up therefore I think if we do not see anything new soon this case is going to go nowhere.

He came into town the night before?? As in, before midnight? Where did you hear this? Please clue me in to a link of possible from a good source as I missed this. Thank you. Still, it seems he's a withdrawal expert, not someone who would give more of what someone's trying to get off of. Right? [Edited 7/1/16 15:34pm]

Where did you hear he "left in a huff" because they didn't give him a private room? I ask this because if that's supposition, I have felt that maybe they could have and should have given him one due to his always having paparazzi on his back, and I always wanted to know if they were just being a--holes. I also want to know if they explained carefully and verbally to him that the save shot would wipe out his tolerance to further use (did they give him proper instructions upon his release). Prince was not stupid. I wonder why he didn't know the risks. The story his friend told of being there in the hosp that night...it seems he was calm. Also that story shows that he had to fight for his life and come back to us. He must've been very scared, and when people are scared, sometimes they get demanding to get their needs met. So if he was that way about getting a private room, and the people fought him back not understanding his fear or having compassion for him, then shame on them. I only say this because I KNOW how humans can be.

TMZ said he left after a few hours because he could not get a private room. Mrs. Hill said they stayed until 11:00 am the next day and he was not combative or difficult. This makes me think that TMZ and all of the other news outlets using their info are adding things to get clicks. I hope a reputable reporter we do a real story on this.

I will go back and find it. I listen to the press conference that Dr. K's attorney gave and I remember him saying the soon flew out that evening. I also believe the son did a interview and mentioned as well. You would think he would have brought nothing as you should not administer any meds without a full examination and this son was not a doctor and his dad is not even licensed to practice medience in Mn.

What's taking them so long? I would imagine that given the exceptionally high profile of the case, they are taking their sweet time ensuring that any and everything publicly released is completely researched and proven to be accurate. "Everything that's in your heart, come what may

Oh for f*** sake not all this again! I wish they would conclude their investigation so all this speculation will end and these trashy mags will have one less horse to beat. The Kornfelds didn't give Prince anything. He was deceased by the time Andrew arrived. Dr S is maintaining a low profile to protect himself from the onslaught of journalists without character or principles. Lots of people are barking up the wrong tree and looking for fault in others. My opinion as someone who works in Healthcare and deals with the pain mgmt/opioid issue every day is that these were all professionals trying to help Prince and doing the best they could for someone with his public profile in the face of an extremely personal health crisis. It's because of this overzealous need to know every dirty little secret that had to in part keep Prince from confronting this sooner. The majority of the responsibility falls on Prince himself as hard as that is to say. If anything the only problem I have for the way this all played out is that given what happened on the plane his people should have respected the gravity of his condition and insisted he be admitted if not in Moline then somewhere else immediately. If that was truly impossible at that time then why in the world was he not sent home from thst hospital with a save shot??!!?? Everyone on opiates should have this available just like people with life threatening allergies carry an epi pen. He just overdosed. I don't get that they didn't give him that piece of insurance. They are the only medical professionals who dropped the ball in this case. That would have also insured another person in PP with him as that would have been necessary for administration of the narcan. The rest of it is bull****. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

If I'm not mistaken nothing has to be released unless the family chooses to do so, it's entirely possible this report will never become public. Frankly I don't think it's anybody's business so I hope the family chooses to keep it private. Paisley Park is in your heart

^This. Unless they bring charges, we'll probably not hear anything. Or, it could sit open as a cold case for years and years.

Frankly I don't think it's anybody's business so I hope the family chooses to keep it private. It's Minnesota's policy to not release full autopsy reports, but if criminal charges result from the police investigation (which is separate from the medical examiner's investigation that has already concluded), and it goes to trial, any evidence related to those charges will become public, which could include more information from the autopsy.

I think something is getting ready to go down. It seems when these leaks happen, it's right before a move is made in the investigation.

If you really work in healthcare, you should know that it's illegal for anyone to possess schedule ii controlled substances without a prescription, and it is almost certainly a federal crime for a medical student to be transporting schedule iii substances across state lines.

Judith Hill contradicts this article. She says that Prince stayed at the hospital until around 10 something that morning. They arrived at the hospital before 2 am. [Edited 7/1/16 18:31pm]
