Help! I want to replace my Prince collection

I want to replace all my Prince songs I've downloaded from iTunes with the higher fidelity tracks from Tidal (boy, there's a difference!). But I can't figure out how to buy a single track and not the whole album. Is there something I'm missing?? Or do I just need to go into bankruptcy buying all those albums?
No-one else could understand you, you're too complex. They say nothing's perfect, but they don't know you...

You can't buy single tracks on Tidal unless they are available that way. Therefore, if you want "God" 12" Instrumental, you are forced to buy the entire Purple Rain EP.

When I bought God (Instrumental) I had to buy a whole 12" Single Import, I wasn't able to buy just the song.

Just sayin'... wink

Me, too - and it's one of the most expensive things in my Prince collection. Pretty sure I paid over 100 bucks for it.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Ever heard of a youtube to MP3 converter? Works wonders...thats how I got the "God" instrumental...I wish I had the actual, but listening to it is enough for me now. nod The trick is finding the "right" version...

Yeah, no thank you biggrin If it is available in lossless officially, I'm not doing stuff like that. I'll either not buy it ($20 is ridiculous for one song by a major artist that isn't hurting financially), or not buy it and wait for the estate to put out a box set of 12" singles.

There's nothing lossless on youtube. Even lossless videos are down converted to MP4 and called "HD" by youtube. I'm only interested with the best possible sound available.

Don't get me wrong. I use something similar in cases like D'Angelo's SISIA performance on The Tonight Show (which I'm happy to share with others), because that will never see the light of day for an official release.

No I haven't, but the whole reason I want the Tidal songs is for the high-fidelity. I can't imagine getting that from a YouTube converter. Thanks though.

I wouldn't be mentioning this if P was still here, but there is a torrent on a couple of the sites with his entire discography in lossless format.
