From Matt Thorne's Prince biography:

[Don] Taylor's comments about Prince in his autobiography are mostly negative. He tried to engineer a collaboration between Prince and Bob Marley, to which Marley responded, according to Taylor, "Don Taylor a dem dah man yo want me fe work with? - mi hum in a dem day batty boy business, mi nuh even wan cum a yah office an meet dem or even sit inna same chair as im."

Don Taylor was Bob Marley's manager. According to Pepé Willie, Taylor managed Prince in the period between Owen Husney and Bob Cavallo & Joe Ruffalo.

Almost all true--except for one slight error. Marley was actually from South Green Acres, just over the state line in Kansas.
