my apologies

I wasn't trying to get pictures of his body, just the ambulance.

I can't understand why there are no pictures of the ambulance or paramedics at paisley park anywhere online. I dont want to see body either.

They probably didn't take any. Why would they? C'mon, man, don't do that. I understand your sentiment, but I am gonna advise you to find a different way to deal with this. You don't REALLY need to torture yourself like this.

Just so everyone knows.

I've been a member here since 2001 when I first got a computer and internet setup.

Lost my password had to rejoin in 2014.

A Prince Fan and collector since 1982.

Just go ahead and lock this one too. I'm done with all the rudeness!

I'm coping with this the best I can.

For some it's harder than others.

What might be easy for some may be harder for others.

Its harder to love than it is to hate.

I'm just trying to do this for myself not for other fans.

I have to remind myself everyday that he wanted us to look at him as love and not an idol.

You're okay...I think due to his family doing right and acting quickly and PP being private property...there aren't any pics and that's a good thing.

No prob and U dont need to justify your Prince fandom lol to anybody. People come on here all day and all night and say the craziest stuff and get away with it. Your original question was okay, but it seems people took it and ran with it as usual lol Why do you need to see it 2 months later though?

Everyone has different ways of dealing with death. And some rebound quickly, others take much longer. Each one tends to be different.

RIP Prince. We will NEVER forget you. Thank you so much.

Aw, man, I didn't intend to sound scolding or anything like that -- I really meant to be encouraging there. I just remember making the mistake of looking at the footage of the time they took him off in the ambulance from the plane, and it was the /worst/ thing I"d seen. I think it'll only make it worse for you, in the long run, to see someone driving him off from the Park. Don't do it. Just don't do it.

I dont think there are any pics on here like that but if there are i would think they'd b in the autopsy/investigation thread. Or u could also try websites for the local news stations in Minneapolis...perhaps they have them in the archives..I also apologize if i was a bit snippy in the previous thread. I know i wasnt mean n nasty cuz i never act that way online unless im attacked. I just thought it was morbid to want to even see that. I think it would make me sadder if i did see it...

These are the last pictures I would want to see. Didn't they basically perp walk the bodies of Whitney Houston and Phillip Seymour Hoffman out to the Coroner's vehicles? It was awful! I wish the video at the funeral home didn't even exist. The son walking out with the urn in the bag? Beyond awful.

I had already checked everywhere online before I posted the previous post that was locked. So that is why I came here to see if anyone else had found pictures of the ambulance or any paramedics online in the last 2 months.

I think the reason I was wondering about it was cause when MJ died the media was there to take pictures of the ambulence and paramedics on the way to the hospital at the house. If Prince was already pronounced d at paisley park why did it take so long for the media or someone with a cell phone to get a picture of the ambulance if it was there and not rushing off to the hospital would have been there longer. Did no neighbors or cars go by without noticing the ambulance and emergency taking place.?? The family had to have his body taken to where the do the autopsy. Oh well....its upsetting everyone so I will just drop it. I repeat that I did not want to find a picture of his body taken out. But seeing the ambulance and parmedics there to take him out would have been closure or that this is real..

It is just something that was a red flag for me.

I also appologize cause' I should have worded my post differently. I was tired and should have just stated that I was looking for ambulance photo at paisley park and not of paramedics putting his body inside it. I just wanted verification that they were there. That is all. That I understand was wrong and I feel bad about that.

But now, let's drop it.

There are many ways people process greif, and most people have a combination of more than one way. Your need for resolution is healthy, and your way is valid. I am similar in that I need the full truth/story, and have also looked for pictures. This is actually quite normal, especially if you've been through death of a family member at a young age, and were at an open casket wake (as I was). No, I don't want to see an autopsy photo, but I have looked for pictures at Paisley Park.

.

Prince is entirely unique even in death, as he was so generous and expressive with his music and lyrics that it really feels like we lost a family member we were very close to. He was so fothright and expressive about his joy, his pain, his social and spiritual beliefs, his love, and his angst... Can you think of any other artist ever that opened up that much of their soul/mind/heart? I can't.

Yes, awful. To have a camera shoved in your face on that day is obscene.

Panpac777 This is why Prince chose to stay in MN. Had this happened in LA, helicopters and news crews would have been everywhere. He didn't want that. Not saying you are thinking he didn't really pass, but when you said red flag it sounds like you don't quite believe he is gone. No one can grasp it, but we can believe it. The local police and the coroner's office wouldn't lie about it, even for Prince. They have just done a wonderful job of protecting his privacy. If you need any confirmation, go back and watch Sheila E's performance Sunday night and look at the pain on her face and the tears falling down her cheeks. It's real.

I found out online that the sherif's dept confirmed the doa. So no ambulance was sent to paisley park. So for no pictures of transporting him to coroner's office is probably because they took him out the rear entrance of paisley park (closer to his apartment/elevator) that only helicompters could get pictures of. If this happened in LA They probably would have gotten the vehicle that the sherif's dept used to transport him.

Again I am so sorry for all this mess....

This post is because I couldn't deal with watching all this mess on the tv april 21st/22nd and that whole week. So I was lacking all that information.

So sorry.....
