Did anybody figure out when Prince's funeral was?

I keep hearing that Tyka said it didn't happen yet but I swore I saw it on TV. I guess not. :/

His congregation held a memorial service for him at his local Kingdom Hall, maybe that's what you have seen. It was about three weeks after he died. It wasn't a funeral as such as his remains weren't there.

The family is planning something in August, last I heard.

There was a family/friends service at Paisley, on April 23rd. Prince's remains were there.

Mayte and Manuela hosted a memorial service on May 11th.

There was another memorial service at Kingdom Hall, on May 15th.

I think those count as funerals.

Or...do you mean an interment of remains in a cemetery?

I really hope it is televised so I can watch. I wonder who will speak at it. I also wonder if they will have a musical rememberance. I understand he is JW, so I am wondering if they will have songs from their music. I heard they call them kingdom melodies? That is their type of gospel I supposed.

I feel the same way. Prince was never really honored appropriately. I think when they were trying to honor him..they were simply at a loss of what to do. They were unsure. Meh, I don't know. I just believe that people need to back off from what Prince appeared to be & start honoring what he is.
