Graffiti Bridge Angel Painting Backdrop Still Would Stand All Time

Trying to find a picture of prince singing Still Would Stand All Time with the cool Angel Painting Backdrop behind him. If anyone knows where I can get a jpeg of it or of the painting itself.

Let me know. I am making a tribute journal for myself and have always wanted a picture of that mural. Reminds me of an Angel or Muse.

Thanks,

Michelle

^^^ This is it, and I was always puzzled by this. It just didn't seem like Prince.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I dunno, it kind of fits his crying face for When Doves Cry mixed with literal illustrations on the unused Around the World in a Day mixed with Clash of the Titans.

True story: at the 2001 celebration we were allowed to roam into the "real" parts of Paisley Pary, and I got to see a little TV area near a kitchen that had videos and Jason and the Argonauts was in the collection of VHS tapes. So was the classic Bill Cosby concert film.

I saw Graffiti bridge on T.V. the other night. They definetly blurred out those tits.

I always loved the feather wings of this angel/muse. It is just so beautiful. I love streamline moderne art & architecture and Art Deco so I love the futuristic/ goddess feel of it too. I feel like the fact that he had it behind him showed me just how beautiful his soul was. I wonder what happened to this mural. If I won the lottery I would bid on it if it was ever for sale.

I think that is a painting by olivia de berardinis. I used to have a trading card set of a bunch of her paintings and I'm pretty sure that one was in there.

I had a large hardcover book in the early 90s on airbrushing. This image was in there in various stages of completion.

KRTREE

It has something to do with things standing up for all time. The tits, the string, or the feathers.

Not sure which.

Not a fan of that - too harsh for me - and so unlike Prince......

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

I know this is on an exterior "wall" in the Graffiti Bridge movie. Are they on the outside of Glam Slam? Or in an alleyway?

Just curious - maybe the intention in the movie was that it's upscale "graffiti".

The painting is totally a product of the late 80s, much like Patrick Nagel's artwork (example: Duran Duran Rio cover) was a product of the early 80s.
