"Sto" doesn't seem unusual to me for "store," really--I'm from mostly the Missouri/Arkansas Ozarks region, with a fair amount of folks from further south in Arkansas around, and I hear that version (and obviously I'm familiar with and use "ya'll," though I can't find a way to spell it that looks right to me, so I'll go with yours.) I don't know that I've ever been exposed to someone actually saying "Wrecka" for "record," though. It doesn't strike me as really different; I'm just not sure I've actually heard it.

That's up for debate. A friend and I got into this discussion. He clearly showed many of the common symptoms however he also seemed to be comfortable around people,especially women. I had to add however that a part of the reason he was comfortable around people was because he was able to control his environment to suit his needs. Prince couldn't just walk into a room of strangers and feel comfortable. He used his celebrity, power, and wealth to shape whatever situation he needed to be in publicly. That meant delegating duties to assistants and bodyguards. One of my co-worker's who drove him around here last year said he was given a long set of rules and demands before he could even drive him including not looking him in the eye or speaking to him directly. He's not the only one like that. I hear some of those same rules apply to Tom Cruise and Sylvester Stallone. Both of whom are also shorter than they look. Coincidence? Maybe... |
