Do you think men were jealous of P? Men, please comment too. (in real life, I mean...not some of our husbands 🙂)
It seems people basically liked him including men. For some reason, even for all of P's fame and looks, men never appeared to be jealous of him or give him a hard time. Why is that? Do you think this was the case? [Edited 8/21/16 18:35pm] | |

I think it depends on the dude -- some guys can be jealous of any other guy who pulls in more girls than they do, especially when it's a tiny, delicate, feminine guy like Prince. I mean, he's got some kind of pull on many women!
Other men know they have their own kind of pull, and aren't bothered by him at all.
Women are the same about getting men. I knew a girl who wa trying to compete with me about how many men we could 'get' -- unfortunately for her, I can't be bothered to compete over that. I wa like, I'ma letchu have that, girl -- I totally don't count my worth by how many men I can get in bed. I imagine myself inside your bedroom; oh, I imagine myself in your sky.

I imagine a good amount were. It probably bugged them that a dude so tiny & into femininity could pull women in constant streams  hopefully most of them fave dude his props & got over themselves. When I attended the Friday night parties at Paisley Park, I could notice men were annoyed whenever a beautiful lady was around him. I think they were somewhat jealous but more due to a woman distracting Prince from his music and work. This is my normal life. These marital standards cannot be recreated with money. | |

I would say more guys I knew weren't jealous of him, but they were made to feel insecure from him and reacted in odd, sometimes homophobic ways. And I don't think a lot of women could handle being with him, either. Not many women can take being with a man who is skinnier and more beautiful than they are. [Edited 8/22/16 8:57am] | |

I mean, I wouldn't want to spend all my time with him focused on looks, but I would be happy to share clothes and be his best friend like that. As a woman, I am also tapped into my masculine side, so I would have no problem taking very good care of him in many ways. We would be perfect equals in these regards | |

Prince usually had some fine looking women around but i always felt sorry for him that he couldn't keep a relationship going ... Having a lot of sex with random people usually means you are very lonely and have very shallow relationships ... Seems like early on he let fame and abundance destroy what he had ... its a on going joke with me and my homeboy about being jealous of prince. me and my friend are both musicians and get our fair share of women... but prince does everything better lmao.. he plays music better, more talented and gets better looking women lol all while being really short and feminine. So we joke about him being a "CAR THEIF" which is street-pimp-slang- for a pimp who steals all the other pimps hoes. .... bjt in actuality, we are not jealous. What about in Prince's real life though. Did he have men around him who weren't paid staff that wwre jealous - or did he get along with men? I'm reminded of how Denise saw Prince perform for the first time When she was hanging out with Rick James, and she ended up going with Prince almost immediately. Rick James used to give P a hard time. Then again Rock James might've given a lot of people a hard time. But did principals male friends? Well, I guess there was Josh and other men he worked with. | |
