Was anyone else getting ready to see him again? I had planed to get ready to see prince again , sadly that won't happen, was anyone else on their way to see prince before he passed? | |

Yeah. Now that my parents were in a safe zone where I could move around and not worry. PP was my major move this year. But I'm ok it didn't happen. (Lied). But it's OK. "I don't make the rules. I just play" | |

Yesss! It was at the top of my priority list. I was finally at a stage in my life to make it happen and honestly thinking about it kept me going thru some difficult changes in my life. I was super psyched. Then super shattered. But I'm trying to remind myself to stop being selfish. This isn't about me. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. I just moved to Charlotte a couple of years ago from Chicago where I last saw Prince in concert in 2012; I was hoping to catch him in Charlotte eventually if he decided to perform here; saw Stevie Wonder here in concert a few months ago. Atlanta is just a few hours drive for me and would have gone to see him perform there had I known that it would b his last. I'm sure he didn't think it would b his last concert performance either. Yes. I hadn't seen him since the Musicology tour and was looking forward to him coming back to Phialdelphia.

According the The Tennessean (our local newspaper) http://www.tennessean.com.../83971496/ Prince had post poned his scheduled Nashville concert(s) that were orginally scheduled for sometime in April and it was assumed it would have taken place in May. But unfortunately he passed on before it came to be. [Edited 6/28/16 8:13am] | |

I was defintiely gearing up to see the Piano tour when it came south to Texas. I would have paid top $$$ to be up close. I still have my order in for the tour book. Hopefully that works out. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Yes. At the end of May, my theatre season was going to be over and I planned to take summer off - partly so I could go somewhere and see the Piano and a Microphone tour.

No, I had just been to see him a month before. So glad I rushed to get tickets and spent the money. You know that old saying.....don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today!! | |

Yea, I live in St Louis and that was apparently the probable next stop for the Piano and a Microphone tour. Ugh!! Talk about a double gut punch!! | |

Yes, I understand what you are saying, I saw him in February at Sydney Opera House - had to book flights, accommodation etc and it was pretty expensive, but so glad I did make that effort and feel blessed to have been part of the voices in the crowd that showed him love that night. (I cried tears of joy so many times that night). After he left us all behind in this world, I felt sad and depressed and it took the shine off having seen him, but that was my grief getting in the way (and it still is) but I am very grateful now ............but still crying every day (not sure when that will stop).
