I recommend always checking the forum's search engine if you wonder if something's a boot on ebay.

I went to an actual record store yesterday and they said that everything up to Come will be released by the end of the year on vinyl or cd.They are getting more andmore stuff in so look for it soon.

Hit n RUn Phase 2 are on sale in SF, I saw at a record store $35.

The remaster deal dealt with stuff from 1978 through 1992, although Come seems to be part of that.

The releases are vinyl, not CD. Read the rest of that thread. There's a lot of info on there (they are remasters, not reissues, FYI). Albums from 1980-1984 were remastered and released on 180gram vinyl in 2011, so you won't find those on that list.

I got 1&2 in the mail yesterday. Made in Australia on clear vinyl. Both are double albums with no lyrics or pictures inside like the CD's. Clearly bootlegs. The labels say "Prince Records" instead of NPG. I haven't listened to them yet so I can't comment on the sound quality.

I've been pre-ordering on amazon and bestbuy all the re-issues because I've been busy with a wall display of his albums and if nothing else, they will complete my display of functional art. My goal is to have nothing but LP's. With The Rainbow Children LP currently going at $799, I think there's going to be a few that I won't have up there.

I would like to think that a US plant would have stricter rules and have ways to check that they aren't printing bootlegs. Aren't there only a couple plants left these days?

No label markings or barcodes on the sleeve. Sleeves are nice quality and feel coated.

Yeah and they are entirely fake. There is no such thing as Prince Records Inc. Why even spend money on this? Mind boggling.
