Sheila E, Mayte and Jerome together. Seeing them all together with the tribute to Prince at the awards just brought tears to my eyes. I thought all the performances were good. Maxwell tugged at my heart. Bilal sang with heart. I even thought Jennifer Hudson did well even with the lyric mess up. It made me cry at the end with Sheila and Mayte standing there. But I personally think they gave a lot to him during the show. He deserves the world because nobody can ever come close to what he musically and artistically gave us. But I applaud the efforts and final product that BET did. My heart just hurts still. Gosh I hate that he's gone. 😔 | |
